We believe some of the best ministry training happens within the local church. The B3 Ministry Residency gives residents the opportunity to serve alongside experienced ministry leaders while receiving intentional mentorship, leadership development, and practical ministry experience.
Each resident serves primarily within a specific ministry track while also gaining broad exposure to the life and ministry of Burning Bush. From Sundays and staff meetings to events, outreach, planning, and everyday ministry, residents experience how the different parts of the local church work together.

The Burning Bush Ministry Residency is a 12-month development program designed to equip individuals for vocational ministry through hands-on experience, intentional mentorship, and leadership development. Residents serve alongside experienced ministry leaders, developing their gifts while learning ministry within the context of the local church.
What Is The Residency Like?
The Burning Bush Ministry Residency is more than serving within one ministry area. Residents become part of the life of our church and staff, gaining experience within their specific ministry track while also learning how the local church works as a whole.
Residency Details
The Burning Bush Ministry Residency is a 12-month, part-time program requiring approximately 20 hours per week. Housing is provided at no cost, allowing residents the flexibility to work outside the church while developing their gifts and gaining ministry experience.
Residents serve primarily within one of the following ministry tracks:
- Pastoral & Discipleship
- Kids Ministry
- Student Ministry
- Worship
- Creative & Communications
